About The Ashton Advantage
In April of 2022 the Christov & Shawn Ashton became full time RVers after Christov retired from his 34 year career as a FEMA Electronic Technician. He has a college degree in electronics and also served as an Electronic Technician in the U.S. Army.
Even with this extensive background in electronics and a solid understanding of mechanics, Christov quickly learned that the world of RVs is unique to itself. With that realization came a passionate desire for knowledge which led to his enrolling in the National Recreational Vehicle Training Academy (NRVTA) in Athens, Texas. Once he had graduated, having gained the knowledge and tools to care for and repair the Ashton RV, his passion grew into a desire to help others with the care and repair of their own RVs. Thus the beginning of The Ashton Advantage.

How much do you charge?Service Call: $150. This pertains to my fee to render you my services & includes travel time to and from within 30 miles. Labor & Repair: $125 hourly rate for service as I work on your unit to repair issues. Some examples are water heater repair, furnace, refrigerator, slides, hydraulics, leveling system, etc.

Do you work on generators?Yes. I specialize in Air Conditioning and Generator Repair along with various other electrical issues.
